How can anyone possibly fall for anyone in that amount of time?" Cody and Ryan glance at each other knowingly, Andrew rolling his eyes. "W-what? Don't be stupid guys, I've only know her two minutes. I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks as they all continued to stare at me. "You like her." Ryan joined in, a smirk creeping onto all three of their faces. "Well since we are 'facing facts' like you say." Let's face facts, we can all get a little too into turf wars." I just want to show her what we're like outside matches. She's in a totally new and weird environment then what she's probably used to. That didn't even qualify as an insult and yet you threw that girl a bone." He pushed his glasses up. "The whole, 'I'm so offended' act you put on. "You know what we mean," Andrew interjected. "What do you mean, 'what happened back there?'" "So.we just wanted to ask you.what happened back there?" I didn't turn to face him but instead responded with a 'yeah?' When we arrived I started to make sure my New Squiffer charger was in a good state, I wouldn't want it to fail on me during the match! Cody cleared his throat to get my attention. I'm sick of looking at your face." Knowing she was joking(hopefully), our team wandered over to our blue base. If you keep teaching her that facts are insults then how is she going to learn? We ARE squids for crying out loud! Geez Louise Todd you are such a loose cannon." She sighed irritably at me and shook her head. The older sibling walked right up in front of me, the most neutral look on her face, and slapped me. And the best part of the whole thing was that Kelly hadn't come over and- oh no wait, never mind. I grinned, glad I was able to cheer her up. I could see the smile forming on her face as she giggled at me. "How dare you! I am so offended right now, like.just GAWD! You are SO goin' down!" I was truly making a spectacle of myself, but it worked. "Did you just call my mother a squid?! I can't even believe-" I scoffed as everyone turned to face me. Starting to feel sorry for the girl I decided I should attempt to cheer her up, and if that failed I was sure Kelly slapping me in my face would certainly make her laugh. ![]() "But it's true." I could sense she was going to start crying soon if I didn't do something. She sniffed and covered her face in embarrassment. "I-I meant to say Octopus!" Her cheery grin being replace with an ashamed frown. "YOUR MOTHER'S A SQUID!" We all stood in utter silence, her eye twitching noticeably she knew that she had made possibly the worst insult ever considering that was more a fact than anything.
